In another significant milestone for Haya Water, an agreement was signed last week between the company and Husam Mohammed al Rawahi (HMR) Environmental Consultants for provision of laboratory analytical testing services for liquid and solid samples.
The agreement ceremony was held at Bait Haya, and was attended by the senior management from both companies.
Eng Hussein Abdul Hussain, CEO, Haya Water, and Dr Hussam Mohammed al Rawahi, managing director, HMR, signed the agreement for which Haya Water Central Laboratory will provide HMR Consultants with high quality testing standards and analytical services using advanced methods that are unprecedented in Oman.
The American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA) announced that they had issued recommendations to prevent lead poisoning among children in developing nations. The recommendations, based on a case study of several developing parts of the world, has been released in the form of a reference document.
